Ecothe stands on the academic foundation of the earlier Ecothee series, developed through ecotheological work associated with the Orthodox Academy of Crete. This legacy of theological reflection, ecological concern, and scholarly collaboration continues in Ecothe as it evolves into a fully peer‑reviewed international journal. The transformation of Ecothe from a book series into a journal includes:formalizing a permanent editorial boardimplementing double‑blind peer review standards and strict ethical and academic guidelines.

Submission Requirements

Manuscripts must be original and not under review elsewhere.  Language: British English, French, German, or Scandinavian. Maximum 15 pages including footnotes and bibliography.         Style: Chicago Manual of Style, 17th edition (Notes and Bibliography). Include title, abstract (max 150 words), and 5–7 keywords. • Submit in Word (.docx) or LaTeX (.tex) format. 35000 characters, inclusive of: Tables , References. Figure or table captions, Footnotes, Endnotes Formatting. Font:Times New Roman, 12 pt; Line spacing: 1.5; Margins: 2.5 cm. Use footnotes for references and commentary. Include complete bibliography at the end Peer Review All submissions undergo double-blind peer review by two qualified scholars. Editorial Policy

Ecothee publishes scholarly articles that explore the intersection of ecotheology, sustainability and education from diverse cultural and linguistic perspectives. We accept submissions in English, French, German, and Scandinavian languages. Authors are responsible for linguistic quality.All manuscripts are subject to double-blind peer review by two independent reviewers. The editorial comitee makes final decisions based on reviewer feedback.
